Autumn herbs
Growing aromatic herbs
October 29, 2012
Very satisfied by autumn crops in previous years, this fall I decided to grow many herbs and vegetables.
The sowing of September and October was challenging, but a look at the plants fills me with satisfaction.
This is Dill Hercules, that should be smaller in size but should produce a lot of leaves.
A pot full of american cress: it looks different than garden cress, but its taste is very similar.
I already harvested a bunch of fresh chervil, and add it to a delicious pumpkin soup.

Another harvest of my oriental greens, komatsuna, semposai, mizuna and pak choi, perfect for salads and sandwiches.
Pak choi is my favourite oriental green, it's sweet and crisp.

I also harvested a couple of Mulato Isleno chilies, and a King of the North sweet pepper, but I forgot to take any pictures.
Chilies and bell peppers: 140g
Komatzuna, pak choi, semposai, mizuna: 130g
Total 270g
This harvest joins to Harvest Mondays.
