Recipe: Fried tofu with ginger spinach

A vegetarian main dish, with the tasty fried tofu served on spinach flavored with ginger and green chili pepper.
Fried tofu with ginger spinach
Ingredients
Serves two:
200g tofu
250g fresh spinach
1 onion
1 clove garlic
2 cm ginger
1 green chili
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp turmeric
Directions
Chop the onion, the garlic, ginger and green chili and fry in a large saucepan with a little oil or butter.
Wash the spinach leaves and coarsely chop them. Add the spinach and milk to the saucepan and cook covered over low heat for 20-25 minutes, until the spinach are very soft.
Remove from heat, add turmeric and blend to a puree. Keep warm.
Cut the tofu into cubes and fry them in hot oil on all sides until they become golden brown.
Place the spinach with ginger in a serving dish and arrange the fried tofu. Serve hot.
