Peppers first buds

Growing chili peppers
March 23, 2009

Some of my pepper plants are outdoor, and they started to show some buds.

Primo Sweet BudsThis is a plant of Primo Sweet, it will produce sweet orange peppers, resembling little bell peppers.
Primo means first and -maybe impressed by its name!- this plant was the first to show its buds.

Jalapeno Jaloro BudsJalapeno Jaloro has some buds too. It's a variety of Jalapeno: last year I enjoyed the Jalapenos, and this year I'm growing many of them.

Pasilla Bajio BudsThis is the real surprise: a one year old Pasilla Bajio plant. Last year I transplanted this plant too late, so it produced only a few pods. I harvested them some weeks ago, (using them in a delicious Pepper Casserole with Red Rice and Pasilla Bajio) and the plant started to bloom.
