Calamint and balm in New York

Aromatic herbs around the world

High line parkHigh Line Park in New York is a beautiful park built on a section of the elevated former railroad.

High line parkIt's still being expanded, but absolutely worth visiting: the plants were planted among the old tracks, and the park crosses several blocks in Manhattan’s West Side.

Walking through the High Line Park I smelled a familiar scent, I looked around and I found a spot of calamint between the colorful flowerbeds.

MelissaAnother familiar scent, and I found some bee balm plants, lush and full of tiny flowers.
