Recipe: Mint hummus with aromatic herbs

MintIt's the right time to use all mint and basil varieties to create new recipes, or to give a different touch to many recipes.


I prepared this simple hummus recipe for a light dinner, using also a couple of clove basil leaves, perfect for their light spicy aftertaste.

Mint hummus with aromatic herbs


Ingredients
250g cooked chickpeas, drained
100ml yogurth
10 mint leaves
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp grated parmesan
chives, basil
pita bread

Directions
Blend all ingredients (except pita bread) in a food processor until thick and creamy.
Serve at room temperature, with toasted pita bread.
