Surprise balm from last year sowing

Last year I seeded an entire garden bed with balm, but it never sprouted. So I bought the plant that you can see in my gallery, and I enjoyed it.
 This summer I was weeding the same bed, when many small plants seemed familiar to me. Hey, it's the last year balm!
