It's harvest time for chamomile: rake the flower heads from the plants at intervals. The flowers should be rapidly dried in the shade.

Gather the dandelion leaves early in the spring. After the plants flower they will be bitter and hard.
I prepared a salad with these leaves: Dandelion Salad with Egg Seasoning.
Harvest the roses before they unfold. Dry the petals and use them for herbal teas, or as a spice in this recipe: Herb Baked Omelette (Kuku)
The loquats are starting to ripen too: I used for a smooth Fruit and Mint Milkshake...
...and my turtles are really appreciating them!
Ok, it's early for basil. But these tiny leaves of basil thai were perfect on my tomato bruschetta.
