September is near: the sea will be warmer and better than in July, but the autumn will begin soon.
For all those who -like me- have already returned to work, a sweet cuddle: this autumn tart with apples and figs.
Apple and figs tart
Ingredients
3 Golden Delicious apples
1 brisée pastry packet
40g sugar
50g dried figs
Directions
Place the brisée pastry on a greased baking tray and put the sliced figs on it.
Peel and core the apples and cut into thin slices, then place in the tart.
Sprinkle with sugar and bake in preheated 180° C (356 F) oven 30-35 minutes.
